Budofudo

Budofudo is an upcoming 2d action platformer inspired by all the things I grew up with and still love today.  From classic games like Mario Bros. and Streets of Rage, to comic books and cartoons as well as martial arts flicks.  

All the art, level design and music is the brainchild of one individual, Ted Kim (me).  I was fortunate to be part of the first wave of game developers at the inception of the 'next-gen' era.  My first foray into game development was as the main concept artist for Cel Damage, a Looney Tunes inspired vehicular combat game first released on the original Xbox in 2001.  Cel Damage was recently released on the Nintendo Switch in March 2019.

Now, after all these years as a Concept Artist and Educator, I am combining my varied interests into one passion project - Budofudo.
